Tour Description
Indian Textiles Tour is designed for those who wish to explore the iconic sites of India, with immersing in India’s rich history of embroidery, textiles & art. In this tour, you will be explore India’s 'Golden Triangle' (Delhi, Agra & Jaipur) you will also have the opportunity to participate in carefully planned embroidery sessions to learn some of India’s traditional & cultural embroidery techniques (like zardozi & weaving) etc.

Day 1 : Arrive Delhi by flight (Kindly advise)
Upon arrival at Delhi Airport, you will receive a warm welcome from our representative who will` assist you to check-in into luxury hotel where you will be staying for the next two nights. Take proper rest to get rid of jet leg, have dinner, our seven wonder tour & travels representative will then outline our wonderful itinerary ahead. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 : Delhi Sightseeing:
Today is a full day of sightseeing around Old & New Delhi. Today after having breakfast, you will explore the Red Fort, Jama Masjid & a brief photo stop at the famous India Gate. We will then arrive at Delhi’s famous market, Kinari Bazaar & experience a traditional rickshaw ride through a ‘crafter’s heaven, where you will find embroidery items & other treats of craft such as lace, gold/silver work, saree threads, precious gems & wonderful fabrics. Then Delhi Hath market is our next stop. The multitude of fantastic products which includes fabric & drapery, gems, beads, metal crafts, silk & wool fabrics, leather goods. After a tiring sightseeing, return to hotel, allowing enough time to fresh-up & have dinner, overnight at hotel.
Day 3 : Delhi to Agra (245 km):
Today after breakfast, you will move to agra which will take approx. 4 hrs, Upon arrival into Agra, Check-in at hotel take rest then, you will visit a group of private artisans who have been embroidering the fabulous technique of Zardozi for generations. Mid-afternoon, put your feet up & relax have dinner. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 : Agra Sightseeing:
This early morning to admire the Taj Mahal with a beautiful sunrise, the white marble mausoleum. After that return to your hotel for breakfast & to commence our first session of Indian Embroidery. Yesterday you had privilege of watching expert Zardozi embroiderers & today you will enjoy to learn this exquisite technique under the expert guidance from our local Indian artist/tutors. After, the sightseeing back to the hotel, take rest have dinner, overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Agra Sightseeing:
Today, after breakfast explore other attractions of the city including Agra Fort, after that back to hotel for breakfast and have some rest. Later this afternoon, you will experience a Marble Inlay demonstration, again synonymous with Agra. These master craftsmen specialize in the fine art of setting gems and semi-precious stones in marble. This exquisite art has been an integral part of the cultural heritage of Agra (that you have seen in Taj mahal) & has been kept alive by the descendants of great artisans who gave the world the mesmerizing Taj Mahal. After, the sightseeing back to the hotel, take rest have dinner, overnight at hotel.
Day 6 : Agra to Jaipur (240 km):
Today, on the sixth day of your Indian Textile Tour after breakfast, you will travel to Jaipur city which will take 4hrs approx. You will visit Fatehpur Sikri En-route towards Pink city. On your arrival at Jaipur, check-in at the hotel and get freshen up or else relax for some-time. In the evening. We take the opportunity to visit the artisans creating beautiful handmade rugs, witnessing the traditional process of hand block printing on textiles with rich naturalistic colors. Our guide will then take us to the most wonderful fabric shop & then on to Blue Pottery workshop. After that back to hotel, have dinner overnight at hotel
Day 7 : Jaipur Sightseeing:
Today after breakfast you will be out for full day pink city sightseeing tour, Onwards to Amber Fort, set in a picturesque landscape, Amber fort where you can enjoy jeep ride. In the afternoon, we visit Dera Amer and enjoy the unique experience of Elephant painting (optional activity). This Elephant Rehabilitation Centre provides healthcare and breeding management for friendly, healthy elephants to live in a safe environment. The time spent with elephants allows you to become friends with them in natural environment, you can play with new friend using only organic colors. This will no doubt stay etched in memories as one of the most wonderful experiences!!! After the sightseeing, back to hotel take rest have dinner, overnight at hotel.
Day 8 : Jaipur Needlework Session:
After breakfast, our second needlework session begins. You will meet our local Indian artist/tutors to learn the exquisitely delicate whitework known as Chikankari. After that back to hotel have dinner, overnight at hotel.
Day 9 : Jaipur – Delhi (280 km):
Today in afternoon you will move to journey back to Delhi. After a tiring day check-in at hotel, have dinner, overnight at hotel
Day 10 : Delhi Farewell:
Today you will get a farewell dinner at an lovely Indian Restaurant and after that Bollywood musical show at “The Kingdom of Dreams” "The Kingdom of Dreams" is India's equivalent to a production that one may see at the Opera House in Sydney, Moulin Rouge in Paris, or Broadway in New York. After that back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 : Delhi departure:
After breakfast, toady your tour ends you will check out from the hotel and be transferred to the international airport to board a flight with the sweet memories of the tour.
